Description
The proposed Coordinate Measuring Machine shall meet or exceed the following minimum requirements: 2.1 Machine Structure and Measuring Volume a. Fixed bridge or equivalent high-precision bridge-style Coordinate Measuring Machine. b. Measuring volume shall be no less than: X-Axis: 900 mm Y-Axis: 1,500 mm Z-Axis: 800 mm c. Machine shall utilize a tri-cision, thermally stable bridge construction or an equivalent structural design that provides equal or superior stiffness, geometric stability, and measurement performance. d. Machine shall include vibration damping technology or an equivalent vibration isolation solution suitable for a production inspection environment. 2.2 Performance Requirements. The CMM shall provide performance equal to or better than the following: a. Maximum volumetric measurement speed of not less than 510 mm per second. b. Maximum acceleration capability of not less than 1,700 mm per second?. c. Length measurement error (MPEE) of 1.5 plus per 333 microns or lower in accordance with ISO 10360-2. d. Maximum permissible probing error (MPL) of 1.5 microns or less. e. Maximum permissible scanning performance (MPE THP) of 2.9 microns or less within a 45-second test cycle. Based on ISO1360 specifications. Equivalent performance metrics validated through recognized industry standards will be considered.2.3 Probe and Sensor Configuration a. Machine shall include a motorized articulating probe head capable of automatic indexing. b. Probe head shall provide indexing increments of 7.5 degrees or finer. c. System shall include an X1H scanning probe or an equivalent high-speed contact scanning probe capable of continuous surface data acquisition and precision feature measurement. 2.4 Controller Requirements a. Machine shall include an HH-C-V2.1 controller or a controller of equal or greater capability. b. Controller shall support high-speed scanning, automatic probe head operation, CAD-based inspection programming, fast probe mode and network integration. c. System shall include a DC241 motion control system operating on 115V power or an equivalent controller providing equal or greater functionality. 2.5 Thermal Compensation a. Machine shall include thermal compensation capability equivalent to Kit Clima Thermal Compensation Version 19 or newer. b. System shall provide automatic linear thermal compensation for both workpiece and scale measurements. c. Thermal compensation system shall continuously monitor environmental conditions and apply correction factors during measurement operations. 2.6 Air Preparation System a. Machine shall include an air dryer and filtration package compatible with 110V operation. b. Air preparation equipment shall be sized appropriately for continuous operation of the supplied CMM. 33. SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Inspection Software a. System shall include PC-DMIS CAD plus 2 Version 2026.1 or newer, or an equivalent CAD-based metrology software platform. b. Software shall support: CAD model import and interrogation, GD and T evaluation, Automated inspection routines, Contact scanning applications, Report generation 3.2 Probe Management Software a. System shall include PC-DMIS Tip Changer Module Version 2026.1 or newer, or equivalent automated probe management functionality. b. Software shall support automatic probe qualification and probe exchange operations.4. FIXTURING REQUIREMENTS a. Contractor shall provide a modular fixturing system consisting of a minimum 30-inch fixture system and associated component kit. b. Fixturing system shall support flexible setup of prismatic and complex workpieces. 5. INSTALLATION AND ACCEPTANCE a. Contractor shall provide delivery, installation, startup, calibration, and operational checkout. b. Following installation, contractor shall perform a complete machine performance verification in accordance with ISO 10360-2 and -5 standards. c. Acceptance shall occur after successful completion of installation and documented verification testing.6. TRAINING REQUIREMENTS The contractor shall provide classroom-based operator and programmer training including a. One (1) PC-DMIS Level 1 training course or equivalent introductory metrology software training. b. One (1) PC-DMIS Level 2 training course or equivalent advanced metrology software training. Equivalent training programs shall cover machine operation, CAD-based programming, probe management, reporting, scanning, and advanced inspection techniques.7. WARRANTY AND SUPPORT a. Contractor shall provide a minimum one-year comprehensive warranty covering parts, labor, and travel. b. Contractor shall provide MyCare Premium coverage or an equivalent premium support program. c. Premium support shall include technical assistance, software maintenance updates, Machine Certification and priority service response. d. Offerors proposing alternate support programs shall clearly identify service levels and written response times and commitments.
