Description

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT for the sole source procurement of the extension of services of an existing contract with General Dynamics One Source, who is providing IT Services to the National Defense University. The contracting activity is NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk 700 Robbins Avenue, Building 2B, Philadelphia, PA 19111-5083. The services include an extension of the services currently provided through an existing contractual vehicle, from 13 Jan 2018 to 28 Feb 2018. The extension will allow for a long-term competitive follow-on contract to be implemented. Competition of the requirement and award to any other source would result in a substantial duplication of effort, and would result in disjointed management and provision of the established IT Services. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals; however, all challenges to this sole source determination received within one day after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
