Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for a Clemco sandblasting cabinet equipment. The NAICS code is 423830 and the business size is 500 employees. The proposed purchase order is being solicited on a brand name basis. The proposed action is for Clemco equipment, for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with compliant products pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). The basis for restricting competition is for the following reasons: Clemco is the only compatible material, with no valid alternatives. The NSWCCD intends to award a firm fixed-price purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
