Description
This procurement will be a 5-year IDIQ type contract restricted to the part number indicated below. Only approved sources or distributors will be considered for this buy. ITEM: Carrier Drive Assembly NSN: 1005-01-221-7602 MFR / CAGE / PART NO: Meggitt Defense Systems / 62228 / 014499-505 INSPECTION / ACCEPTANCE: Origin / Origin FOB: Destination PACKAGING: Military / B MINIMUM / MAXIMUM QUANTITY: 14 / 288 KIND OF CONTRACT: Firm Fixed Price Offers are due on 30 January 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern (see solicitation for actual offer due date and time). Offerors are encouraged to check the SAM.gov website on a regular basis for any updates to the solicitation. The solicitation contains a provision entitled 'Reverse Auction,' which allows for the use of reverse auction as a pricing technique. After the solicitation closes, the contracting officer will determine if a reverse auction will be held. If a reverse auction is held, contractors must be registered in the reverse auction system in order to participate in the auction. Additionally, the contractor representative participating in the auction must have taken the on-line reverse auction training prior to the auction. Registration, on-line training, and other information regarding the reverse auction can be found at https://dla.procurexinc.com. Any questions related to the reverse auction system or process can be directed to the contract specialist.
