Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 1232SA26Q0144 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Steam Valve Repair. This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 332913 The small business size standard is 1,000 employees This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. Statement of Requirement Attachment 2 Statement of Work provides an overview of the requirements. The requirement entails the repair of a medium to low pressure steam control valves 1/3 and 2/3 valves. A mandatory site visit will be conducted on 17 February 2026 at 10:00 am CDT. Coordinate with location POC Andrew Vandewarker for attendance at andrew.vandewarker@usda.gov or 608-890-0102 on or before 16 February 2026. FAR 52.225-11, Buy American-Construction Materials under Trade Agreements is included - One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. Technical Data - Agency regulations and procedures are provided in attachment 2 statement of work and will be explained during the site visit.
