02/17/2026: AMENDMENT 0001 ISSUED. THIS AMENDMENT INCORPORATES UPDATE WAGE DETERMINATION, EXTENDING RFQ DUE DATE TO FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 2026 AT 12:00 PM CDT. SEE ATTACHMENTS FOR DETAILS. The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) herein issues solicitation 15BBNF26Q00000004 for the award of a firm-fixed-price construction contract for a project entitled Replace High Mast Light #4 at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Marion, located in Marion, Illinois. FCI Marion is a federally owned facility located at 4500 Prison Road, Marion, IL 62959. The project consists of the following: The Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Marion has a con-struction requirement for replacing one (1) 100' Carolina orequivalent high mast pole including new cables, wires, andLED fixtures. The contractor will remove and dispose of theexisting 100' pole and lighting fixture. All material shallmeet or exceed the items listed in the specifications and beinstalled IAW local codes and applicable regulations. The performance period for the project will be 45 calendar days from the issuance of the notice to proceed. Contractor is required to attend a pre-work meeting in order to coordinate and plan with the on-site staff prior to the day of work. All work shall comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Access to the specifications and drawings attachments will require an active https://sam.gov vendor registration (log in) AND may require a specific role or domain linked to your registration. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 238210 - Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors with a corresponding small business size standard of $19 million. The estimated magnitude of the project lies between $25,000 and $100,000 (NOTE: This range is not meant to imply that the project has necessarily been estimated/budgeted to the maximum of the selected range. It merely conveys that the estimate/budget lies somewhere within that range.) The solicitation will be distributed solely through the Contract Opportunity website at https://www.sam.gov.
