THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes; it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) nor a promise to issue an RFP or other solicitation. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is not currently seeking proposals. Respondents are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay any cost incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the expense of the respondent. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future solicitation. The information provided in this RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. All submissions become the property of the Federal Government and will not be returned. Update 9/29/25 Thank you for your request for an extension. Unfortunately, we are unable to grant an extension at this time due to tight timelines and the urgency of this effort. We kindly remind you to focus your feedback on specific issues related to the draft requirements. Please avoid submitting capability statements or generalized information about your company�s past performance. Instead, we are seeking concise, actionable input that clearly identifies what can be done, what cannot be done, and realistic timeframes for accomplishing the proposed tasks. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
