Description

1. Introduction The USACE Seattle District intends to award a sole source contract to Platypus Marine INC. 2. Description of Services The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to perform structural repairs on the MV Puget. The MV Puget is currently in dry-dock at the Platypus Marine shipyard. Follow-on repairs are needed to safely un-dock the vessel for sea worthiness and sea trials. The NAICS code is 336611. 3. Authority 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) FAR RFO 12.102(a) 4. No solicitation package will be issued. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The Government will consider responses received by 12:00 PM Pacific Time on 12th Feburary 2026. Inquiries will only be accepted via email to brantley.w.dowell@usace.army.mil. No telephone requests will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
