Description

Air Force Materiel Command, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Maxwell AFB, Gunter Annex AL, intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of RFO 6.103-1. The proposed source is �RS Means Company LLC.� The supply being procured is RS Means Facilities Maintenance and Repair (FMR) data. RS Means data is the only data that can currently work with the TRIRIGA software to calculate the costs construction professionals use to create budgets, estimate projects, and validate their own cost data and plan for ongoing facilities maintenance. This data set requires an annual licensing for the continued use of this data and any derivative data produced from the original dataset. This notice is being published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotations received by the response date specified in this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Justification: Supplies required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
