Description

11/26/2025: The Department of Labor wage determination, which was mistakenly omitted, has been added as an attachment. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), U.S. Border Patrol, Tucson Sector requires solid waste removal services for Ajo Border Patrol Station and the Ajo State Route 85 Checkpoint located in Why, Arizona, and Ajo, Arizona, respectively. The overall period of performance includes the following base year and four option years: Base Year: 02/07/2026-02/06/2027 Option Year 1: 02/07/2027-02/06/2028 Option Year 2: 02/07/2028-02/06/2029 Option Year 3: 02/07/2029-02/06/2030 Option Year 4: 02/07/2030-02/06/2031 This is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) using simplified acquisition procedures under FAR Part 13. This RFQ is issued as a total small business set-aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. For quotation preparation instructions, see Section V.5, General Instructions for the Preparation and Submission of Quotations (Oct 2008). Quoters are strongly encouraged to review this section carefully. It is anticipated that award will be made on or about January 23, 2026. The applicable NAICS code is 562111 - Solid Waste Collection. The corresponding size standard is $47 million. As stated above, the solicitation is set aside for eligible small businesses under this NAICS code. No sustainable acquisition requirements have been identified. In order to be considered for award, vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov prior to the solicitation closing date. Interested vendors not already registered in SAM are strongly encouraged to register as soon as possible. Questions about this acquisition shall be submitted in writing to Eric Neckel at eric.r.neckel@cbp.dhs.gov. Questions are due by December 3, 2025, 3:00 p.m. PST. Quotes shall be submitted by e-mail to the contracting officer, Eric Neckel, at eric.r.neckel@cbp.dhs.gov. Hard copy quotes submitted by regular mail will not be accepted. Include RFQ number 70B03C26Q00000007 in the subject line of your e-mail when submitting your quote.
