Description
The purpose of this modification is to: 1) Change the solicitation Set Aside from Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to a Total Small Business Set Aside (SBSA). 2) The Site Visit date has changed to March 2, 2026, at 10:30 AM CDT (Local Time). Please RSVP by 26FEB2026. 3) Requests for Information (RFIs) deadline is changed and RFIs are due no later than March 5, 2026, by 4:00 PM. 4) The solicitation close date is changed to March 13, 2026, by 4:00 PM CDT. No other changes. ****************************************************************************************************************************** The General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service, Acquisition Management Division, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a construction project for the removal and replacement of carpet in court chambers and jury room, remodeling of the Bankruptcy Court�s IT office, and asbestos/lead abatements. Location is the Sioux Falls Federal Courthouse, 400 S Phillips Ave., Sioux Falls, SD 57104. Building Number: SD0021 This procurement is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside. The estimated construction cost magnitude for all work under this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a size standard of $45 Million. All responsible, qualified firms are encouraged to submit a proposal. The source selection process and criteria will be based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable methodology. A site visit will be conducted February 23, 2026, at 10:30 AM CST (Local Time). Details pertaining to the site visit meeting are enclosed in the solicitation. Interested firms are encouraged to attend the site-visit. Contractors as asked to submit an RSVP request for this site visit. Deadline to RSVP is February 19, 2026, by 12PM CDT. The solicitation closing date will be March 10, 2026, at 4:00 PM CST. The solicitation and all other information, amendments and questions concerning the forthcoming solicitation will be electronically posted at the following web page: https://sam.gov/ (Contract Opportunities). No telephone requests for documents will be accepted. This solicitation is not a sealed bid and there will not be a formal public bid opening. All questions/inquiries or requests for clarification must be in writing, via email to the Contracting Officer and Program Manager specified in the solicitation. All answers will be provided in writing and will be posted as an amendment to the solicitation posting. Interested firms must be registered and have completed their online representations and certifications in the System for Award Management (SAM). Firms can register via the Internet site at https://www.sam.gov/SAM/ or by contacting the SAM Service Desk at https://www.fsd.gov/gsafsd_sp.
