SOURCES SOUGHT: This is a Sources Sought Notice for market research purposes only. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the requirement for a non-personal services contract for a Summer Caretaker at the Farish Recreation Area. The Government is seeking to determine the availability and adequacy of potential sources. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Description of Requirement: The 10th Force Support Squadron requires a contractor to provide after-hours surveillance, security, and guest support for the Farish Recreation Area, a government-owned recreational lodging facility in Woodland Park, CO. The contractor will live on-site in a contractor-provided RV and serve as the on-site security and customer service presence during non-business hours (6:00 PM to 8:00 AM daily) from May through October. The contractor will serve as the initial on-site responder for emergencies and maintenance issues. A draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached for detailed information on the required duties and responsibilities. Required Capabilities: The ideal respondent must possess the ability to provide a qualified individual who can meet all requirements of the PWS, including: The ability to pass a background check and drug test. Possession of current CPR/First Aid certification and a valid driver's license. Providing their own suitable RV and personal vehicle. The physical capability to patrol uneven terrain in various weather conditions. Demonstrated experience in customer service, security, and/or facility management. Estimated Period of Performance: One six-month base period, with two six-month option periods. See PWS for details on dates. Requested from Vendors: Interested parties are requested to submit a capability statement that addresses the following. Company Name and Address Point of Contact (name/phone/email) A brief description of your company's capabilities and experience as they relate to the requirements described in the attached PWS. Provide up to three (3) examples of recent and relevant projects performed within the last five years that are of a similar scope, size, and complexity. Confirm your ability to meet all key requirements, including providing a qualified individual, a suitable RV, and meeting all certification/background check standards.
