This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION and SOURCES SOUGHT for TWO Industrial Air Compressors Contractors that deem themselves capable of meeting the requirement shall provide the below information to Brooke Hansen, Contracting Officer, at Brooke.Hansen@va.gov no-later-than Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at 4:30PM, EST, referencing (36C25026Q0162). Responses shall include: (1) Business Name and Address, (2) GSA Contract Number and expiration date, if applicable (3) Point of Contact Name, Phone Number and E-mail Address (4) DUNS and NAICS code (5) Business Size SMALL or LARGE (6) Type of Small Business (if applicable): service disabled veteran owned, veteran owned small business, 8a, HUBZone, woman-owned, etc. (7) A concern that is not a manufacturer of the supply shall provide the manufacturers name and size standard (8) Country of Origin. If the concern is the manufacture and the sole distributor, please provide documentation to that effect. Please see requirements below: Indianapolis VA Medical Center, located at 5610 Dividend Rd, STE B, Indianapolis, IN 46241, is requesting the purchase of TWO Ingersoll Rand RS55I, 75HP, 138 PSI Contact Cooled Rotary Screw with Total Air System or equivalent. Project minimal specification requirements: a. ON-SITE pre-proposal visitation by potential vendor is available, to ensure accuracy in the vendor s proposal to the government. b. Two (2) units, each unit independently able to continuously provide the minimally acceptable air demand requirements (335 CFM) of the VA Optical Lab, installed in tandem, to allow continuous, uninterrupted supply of air, regardless of which air compressor is operational. The VA currently owns a 500-gallon (approximate) air storage tank. c. Each air compressor unit shall include an integrated air-drying system. d. Variable speed/rotary design is preferred, but not mandatory. e. Fully turn-key project management/installation - Removal and scrapping of two (2) existing units IR model IRN40H-CC-HV air compressors - Transportation and all rigging of outgoing & incoming equipment - Integration and exhaust duct work required to place both new air compressor units in the most acceptable location in the VA s mechanical room- core ductwork is present. - All utilities hook-up and/or modification required to optimize new air compressor requirements. Presently, the VA has one (1) 100A/60V safety switch, and one (1) 200A/240V safety switch. - All drain requirements of the new air compressors. - All plumbing & material requirements to tie into or modify present air supply lines (4 copper) to optimize new equipment replacement/location. - Relocation of existing 500-gallon (approximate) air storage tank to optimize new equipment replacement/location. f. Awarded vendor must be able to offer an optional, Preventative Maintenance program (to be solicitated and awarded later) to support this equipment for the OEM estimated life of these air compressors.
