Description
THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The Bureau of Land Management, National Seed Warehouse System, intends to issue a solicitation for the Spring 26-1 Consolidated Seed Buy under SOLICITATION NUMBER 140L3726R0001. The seed requirement will be for various quantities and multiple varieties of seed to be delivered to multiple locations. This procurement is not set aside for small businesses but will have 6 reserved awards for contractors that meet the small business threshold. The NAICS code is 113210 Forest Nurseries and Gathering of Forest Products, size standard is $20.5M. Single Solicitation, multiple awards and multiple delivery locations will be awarded as firm-fixed price contracts with a base buy and 1 option buy. TYPE OF CONTRACTS: The government expects to make awards on or before March 2, 2026. The Government will award multiple contracts resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offerors whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. The evaluation criteria will be conducted using a Trade-off process. The solicitation documents including specifications and bid sheet will be issued on or about January 22, 2026 and will be posted on the SAM.gov website under the Solicitation number in the contract opportunities section. This date is subject to change. Hard copy documents will not be available - all documents will be posted at the website for download. Offers will be due about 3 weeks after issuance of the solicitation. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. No phone calls please related to this announcement. No bidder list is maintained. To be awarded a contract an offeror must have a unique identification number (vice DUNS), be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), http://www.sam.gov, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications.
