Description

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency intends to award a sole source contract to Sensor Technology Engineering, LLC (STE) to acquire two STE brand name Linear Radiation Monitors (Part No. TA400). Sensor Technology Engineering, LLC is the sole provider of these items. The authority for this sole source award is FAR 13.106(b).THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties have five (5) days from the date of publication of this notice to submit, in writing, clear and convincing evidence of their qualifications and/or capabilities to provide Linear Radiation Monitors to the identified point of contact for this notice. Information received from this notice will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct this procurement competitively. Responses received after five (5) days, with or without the required information, will be considered non-responsive to this notice and will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to conduct this effort as a full-and-open competitive procurement, based on the responses to this notice, is solely at the Government?s discretion. The Government will not reimburse any expenses incurred in responding to this notice. All inquiries must be submitted in writing to the POC listed for this notice. Responses must also include your business name, point of contact, address, and telephone number. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted.
