Description
The U.S Army Corps of Engineers, Middle East District. Anticipates soliciting and awarding a contract to provide the necessary construction services as described below. The project site is located at Al Jaber Air Base, Kuwait. This will be a firm-fixed price (FFP) Design-Bid-Build (DBB) contract awarded on the basis of full and open competition in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15 ? Contract by Negotiation FAR Part 36 ? Construction and Architect Engineer Contracts. No reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with providing information in response to this forthcoming solicitation or any follow up information request. F-18 Super Hornet Procurement E, Pkg 007, 008, 009 work includes construction of a new Engine Shop, Airframes Shop, Squadron Operations Building, related site improvements, and incidental related work. The work is part of group of projects to support fielding of new F/A-18 Super Hornet aircraft. The project will be constructed in accordance with current Kuwaiti and U.S. building codes, safety, and security standards. The contractor shall provide all management, administration, quality control, labor, transportation, equipment, materials, vehicles, heavy equipment, supplies and other items as necessary to perform the services contained in the scope of work.The appropriate Northern American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 236220 -- Commercial and Industrial Building Construction, and the Small Business Size Standard is $45,000,000. The Period of Performance for this project is 600 calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP).The estimated magnitude of construction of this project is between $10 million and $25million.The overall Period of Performance (PoP) shall be six hundred (600) calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP) for the entire scope of work including Optional CLINsNOTE: Please be advised the solicitation number has been replaced from W912ER25R0010 to W912ER25RA014.
