Production of C-5 Mechanical Actuators; NSN 1680-01-181-9991UC

Description

Defense Logistics Agency (DLA-Weapons Support), Robins AFB, GA, will acquire for the USAF 409th SCMS the NSN 1680-01-181-9991UC, P/N: 4C95009-153D, Mechanical Actuator for the C-5 Aircraft. Drawings/Data are not available from the procuring activity. SPRWA1-26-R-0004 will be a written request for proposal for a firm-fixed price contract for a requirements contract with 4 ordering periods, with BEQs of 43, 14, 12, and 14 respectively. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Ontic Engineering, CAGE 45934 in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Data is not available for this acquisition. However, all proposals received before closing date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. The solicitation for this requirement is estimated to be posted on 01 December 2025.
