Description

THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. Project No.: 662-23-150 Project Title: Repair and Weatherize Parking Structure 211 Elevator at San Francisco VA Medical Center, Veterans Health Administration, Regional Procurement Office West, Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO 21) on behalf of VA San Francisco Health Care System. Description: The Department of Veterans Affairs San Francisco campus has a requirement to refurbish the single elevator from effects of weather and construct a vestibule to limit further deterioration in accordance with the draft statement of work (SOW) and specifications. Contractors must demonstrate their ability to meet all requirements listed in this notice. See attached draft document for additional information. All information in this pre-solicitation announcement is a draft and subject to amendment(s) and is in no way binding to the Government. In consideration of time, a draft copy of the SOW is being posted along with the specifications and drawings for review. A request for proposal will be issued as a total SDVOSB set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the small business size standard is $45M. PSC Code is Z2DZ, Repair or Alteration of Other Hospital Buildings. The magnitude of construction projects is between $500,000 and $800,000. Potential Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for an award (See Internet Site https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/). Potential Offerors must also have a current Online Representations and Certification Application on file with SAM. This is a pre-solicitation announcement only. Solicitation documents will be available around early April 2026. The solicitation will be a request for proposal (RFP), which will contain proposal instructions, a scope of work (SOW) and specifications.
