Description
This NOTICE OF INTENT is being posted to satisfy the requirement of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.204(DFARS) 219.502-2(1). The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), Indian Head, Maryland, Contracts Department, Code 02 intends to award a competitive task order for an asbestos ceiling anchors project at BXXX, Indian Head, MD. This project will consist of demoing equipment and piping, installing anchor hangers, and containing asbestos-containing material (ACM). The proposed task order will be competed with Basic Order Agreement holders that received an agreement for the Hazardous Material Testing and Removal BOA (N0017424G0006) solicited on 07/31/2024. These small business contractors successfully demonstrated their capabilities and experience to be able to compete for this type of work. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued as a competitive small business set-aside basis under the authority at DFARS 219.502-2(1). This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all responses received to this notice for potential future opportunities. Responses must be received within 15 calendar days of publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation will be available for this procurement. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit or award a contract. Since this is a Notice of Intent, evaluation letters will not be issued to any respondent nor will inquires be responded to. This requirement is being conducted under Classification Code Z2JZ and NAICS Code 562910. All interested sources shall provide the organization name, address, point of contact, phone number, e-mail address, business size, taxpayer identification number, UEI number, and CAGE Code.
