Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 1232SA26Q0337 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Radioactive Waste Disposal. This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 562112. The small business size standard is $47.0 Mil. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. Statement of Requirement: The USDA, ARS, Plains Area (PA), Edward T. Schafer Agricultural Research Center (ETSARC), Fargo, ND location is seeking a qualified vendor with the capability and capacity to provide disposal services of mixed radiological and radioactive contaminated material for the USDA, ARS, Plains Area (PA), Edward T. Schaefer Agricultural Research Center (ETSARC), Fargo, ND facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local regulations. Services must include: all labor, materials, tools, equipment, analysis, travel, transportation, containers, labeling, documentation, waste treatment, any necessary stabilization processing, disposal and support services required to categorize, package, transport, document and dispose of mixed radiological and radioactive contaminated material from the USDA, ARS, PA, ETSARC facility in accordance with attached Statement of Work (SOW). This facility is considered a Very Small Quantity Generator (VSQG) centered around agricultural research. A qualified vendor servicing the area with the capability to execute a milk-run pickup.
