EFFECTIVE 6 September 2020 at 11:17p.m.: The government has issued Amendment No. 0004 against this Solicitation. Under Amendment No. 0004, a REVISED BID SCHEDULE is furnished which supersedes the revised bid schedule provided via Amendment No. 0003. Please refer to the " Attachments" Section herein this Notice EFFECTIVE 6 September 2020 at 11:13p.m.: The government has issued Amendment No. 0003 against this Solicitation. Please refer to the " Attachments" Section herein this Notice. EFFECTIVE 29 August 2020: The government has issued Amendment No. 0002 against this Solicitation. Please refer to the " Attachments" Section herein this Notice. EFFECTIVE 24 August 2020: The government has issued Amendment No. 0001 against this Solicitation. Please refer to the" Attachments" Section herein this Notice. Under this Solicitation Notice, the United States Army Corps of Engineers - Chicago District issues Solicitation No. W912P620B0006 for bidding purposes. Therefore, provided hereunder is the relevant bid package for the construction project entitled, "Porter County Storm Sewer Improvements �Section 219, Valparaiso, Porter County, Indiana (USACE Acquisition)." PROJECT INFORMATION: Under the contract, the contractor will be required to improvements of approximately 800 linear feet of channel improvements for the roadside ditch, from the existing confluence with Squirrel Creek to the proposed drop structure/relief sewer to the South Haven Elementary School (SHES) flood storage facility. The channel improvements would be provided to increase conveyance and eliminate the need for 54-inch storm sewer along the entire stretch of McCool Road. Construction will also include approximately 1,200 linear feet of 54� relief sewer extending from the limits of the roadside ditch (southwest of the intersection of McCool Road and Midway Drive) to the South Haven Elementary School (SHES) flood control basin (constructed by others). CONTRACTING OFFICE: USACE Chicago District, 231 SOUTH LaSALLE STREET, SUITE 1500, Chicago, IL 60604 ACQUISITION INFORMATION: Competition for this acquisition is RESERVED EXCLUSIVELY for Small Business Concerns. The North American Industry System Classification Code is 237110, with a small business size standard in dollars of $39.5 Million. The magnitude of cost for construction is estimated between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The Solicitation (Invitation for Bids ��IFB�) will be downloadable from this INTERNET Site ONLY. The project specification files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. At the date of issuance of this IFB, bids are due prior to 2:00 p.m. (Central Time) on September 11, 2020. IN THE CASE OF A DISCREPANCY BETWEEN THE DATES PUBLISHED IN THIS NOTICE AND THOSE CALLED OUT IN THE IFB DOCUMENT, THE DATES IN THE IFB DOCUMENT OVERRIDES THOSE PUBLISHED HEREIN THIS NOTICE; THIS IS RELATIVE TO THE IFB ISSUANCE DATE AND THE DUE DATE FOR BIDS.
