Description
The U.S. Army Contracting Command � Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Natick Division, in support of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command � Soldier Center (DEVCOM-SC), Soldier Protection Directorate (SPD), intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis to Western Distributing Company located at 4955 Bannock ST, Dever, CO 80216 for Secure Sensitive Freight under the authority as prescribed in FAR 13.106(b)(1). . It is anticipated that the new contract will be awarded on or before 07 April 2026. SPD requires a commercially available armored transport service company capable of providing secure shipment of materials from DEVCOM-SC Natick, MA to customer intermediary located within MA. More specifically, freight service provider must be bonded and certified to carry United States Category III Securities within the state of Massachusetts, use a Level II armored truck that meets all security requirements and have a height that does not exceed 12�6� and is 48� � 53� in length; and Armed personnel must be trained, proficient and licensed in the use of weapons supplied by their employer. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 484230 and the size standard is $34,000,000.00 dollars. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. No solicitation document is available. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by sending responses regarding this requirement to the Army Contracting Command � Aberdeen Proving Ground (CCAP-DDN), Natick Division via email ONLY to Kevin Morris (Contract Specialist) at Kevin.M.Morris24.civ@army.mil no later than 3:00 pm EST 04 March 2026. Any questions regarding this notice must be in writing only; no telephonic replies will be accepted. A determination not to compete this proposed action based on any responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. The U.S. government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this notice. All costs associated with responding to this notice will be solely at the expense of the interested party.
