Description
Cylinder size Cylinder shall have a 14.00 inch bore and 36.00 inch stroke.Rod size Cylinder rod shall be 7 inch diameter, chrome plated over the full exposed length.Mounting configuration Cylinder shall be provided with a front flange mounting arrangement suitable for rigid attachment to the machine structure, with flange dimensions and bolt pattern per manufacturers standard for a 14 inch bore industrial cylinder.Operating pressure rating Cylinder shall be designed and rated for continuous operation at 3,000 PSI working pressure, with an appropriate safety factor per industry standards such as NFPA or ISO.Hydraulic fluid compatibility All seals, wipers, and internal elastomeric components shall be fully compatible with phosphate ester hydraulic fluids, suitable for continuous service in that medium.Cushioning Cylinder shall be non cushioned at both ends of stroke. No internal adjustable cushions are required.Construction type Cylinder shall be of heavy duty welded or tie rod industrial construction, designed for continuous duty in harsh environments including industrial, defense, or heavy equipment applications.Rod finish and protection Rod shall be induction hardened or equivalent as required by vendor to support the 7 inch diameter design. Chrome plating shall provide corrosion and wear resistance suitable for outdoor or industrial use.Ports and connections Cylinder shall be provided with standard hydraulic ports sized appropriately for 3,000 PSI operation and the expected flow rate. Port type such as SAE, NPTF, or metric shall be specified by the vendor and compatible with the existing hydraulic system.End configurations Cap end: Front flange mounting as specified.Rod end: Rod end shall be provided with a threaded, clevis, or spherical bearing connection as required by the application to be finalized at design review.Sealing system Primary rod seal, secondary seal, and wiper shall be designed for high pressure, high cycle service at 3,000 PSI. All seals shall be phosphate ester compatible and rated for the full operating temperature range of the system.Operating environment Cylinder shall be suitable for indoor or outdoor industrial use, including exposure to dust, moisture, and typical shop contaminants.Performance requirements Cylinder shall be capable of full stroke operation at 3,000 PSI without permanent deformation or leakage. Rod side and cap side shall both be rated for full pressure.Testing and quality Each cylinder shall be pressure tested to at least 1.5 times rated working pressure or per vendor standard prior to shipment. Cylinder shall be free of external leakage and shall meet vendors internal leakage criteria.Maintenance and serviceability Cylinder design shall allow seal replacement and rod service using standard shop tools. Vendor shall provide seal kit part numbers and recommended maintenance intervals.Documentation Vendor shall provide dimensional drawing showing overall length, pin to pin or flange to rod end dimensions, stroke, and mounting details. Pressure rating, fluid compatibility statement for phosphate ester, and test certification shall be provided upon request.
