Sources Sought Notice: DLA Weapons Support is looking for sources capable of providing the following requirement Item Name: Transmission Mechanical NSN: 2520-01-718-6450 Manufacturer's Part Number: 57K02044 CAGE 75Q65 Basic Qty: 8 Option Qty: 8 Description: This item, NSN 2520-01-718-6450, is a heavy-duty mechanical transmission. It is a critical component of the M1300 Heavy Equipment Transporter (HET) tractor truck. The transmission's purpose is to act as the vital link between the M1300's powerful 700-horsepower engine and its wheels. Please Note: 1. This notice is not an open solicitation i.e. Invitation for Bid (IFB) or Request for Proposal (RFP). 2. Technical data will not be available for this item as it is a manufacturers part number. 3. Qualification testing and evaluation is required to become an approved source. 4. Source approval does not guarantee business/award. 5.
