Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary and will be used only for market research purposes to determine availability of sources, commerciality, and competitive strategy. The government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs associated with any response to this notice as incurred by prospective contractors. As part of its market research, the PMA-201 Precision Strike Weapons Aircraft Armament Equipment (AAE) Program is issuing this Sources Sought to determine if there exists an adequate number of qualified interested contractors capable of providing solutions to meet the requirement. The Government may use the responses to the Sources Sought for information and planning purposes. The Navy is seeking companies that have the capability to deliver approximately 12,000 BRU-32B/A Bomb Rack Hook Assembly, PN 1534AS485. The hook assembly is designated as Critical Safety Item (CSI) and will be required to be laser etched with Manufacture date and a serial number for tracking installation in the BRU-32 Bomb Rack. The anticipated period of performance will be approximately 48-60 months from contract award. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336413 (Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing) with a small business size standard of 1,250 number of employees. The government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity to provide supplies with those described in this notice. Responses to this Sources Sought are not quotes on which PMA-201 Precision Strike Weapons AAE can issue any contract. This Sources Sought is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not in itself constitute an RFQ. The Government does not intend to award a contract based only on responses to this Sources Sought. All information received in response to this Sources Sought marked "Proprietary" will be protected and handled accordingly. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Government reserves the right to ask follow-up clarifying questions to individual companies based on proprietary information submitted without posting those questions. Responses to the Sources Sought will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Sources Sought. PMA-201 Precision Strike Weapons AAE will not pay for information received in response to this Sources Sought. SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS: All interested sources must submit a capabilities package to the primary point of contact listed below, no later than (NLT) Tuesday, 26 June 2026, 5 pm Eastern Standard Time. Responses to this Sources Sought should not exceed 5 pages in length. Do not submit pricing information in response to this Sources Sought. The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice in writing including details of your company�s ability to deliver BRU-32B/A Bomb Rack Hook Assembly. Capabilities Statement: Provide a detailed description of your company's experience and capabilities related to print to build manufacturing. Specifically address your experience with using and complying with Government-owned Technical Data Packages (TDPs). Describe your company's manufacturing facilities, equipment, and personnel resources. Include information on relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100). Describe your company's quality control processes and procedures. If applicable, describe your company's experience with relevant specific processes - e.g., specific materials, coatings, testing methods, etc. Provide examples of past performance on similar contracts (Government or commercial). Include contract numbers, agency/company names, a brief description of the work performed, and contact information. Describe any challenges or risks your company anticipates in fulfilling the requirement and how you would mitigate them. Specifically address your company's ability to handle and protect controlled unclassified information (CUI) as required by DFARS 252.204-7012, Safeguarding Covered Defense Information and Cyber Incident Reporting. Clearly state whether your company has the capability to produce the BRU-32B/A Bomb Rack Hook Assembly, PN 1534AS485 in accordance with the Government-owned TDP. All of the above information must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on availability of interested qualified parties.
