Good day, SDVOSB�s, VOSB�s & SB's Sources Sought Pre-Solicitation This Sources Sought is issued solely for informational and planning purposes only. It does not constitute the issuance of a solicitation or a promise to issue solicitation in the future. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified SB and large businesses. This is not a request for bids, quotes, offers, or proposals. The responses to this announcement will assist in determining the socio-economic status such as a SDVOSB set-aside if feasible. If insufficient SDVOSB responses are received to establish the basis for setting this requirement aside for SDVOSB�s, the requirement may be solicited as a VOSB or a SB set aside, if no or not enough small business responses are received, this may be solicited as unrestricted, all interested parties responding shall be eligible to compete. Please direct reply in the affirmative via email if you are interested and can provide the required product/service for this requirement. Please provide your capability statement, and any other supportive documentation. I will accept responses to this Sources Sought until the 13th of July 2026 14:00, thanks. General: C.W. Bill Young Veterans Affairs Medical Center10,000 Bay Pines Blvd, Bay Pines, Florida 33744, has a requirement for four (4) geriatric simulation mannequins and 3 decontamination capable mannequins for Bay Pines VA Medical Center. Background: The BPVAHCS has requires 4 simulation mannequins to be used for staff training on the evacuation buses. Additionally, the BPVAHCS has a decontamination program that needs the decontamination mannequins for training and exercises. Scope of Work: The mannequins provided must be equal to the salient characteristics listed below. Explanation of how equal meets each salient characteristic must be included with quote. 3.1 Salient Characteristics (Geriatric Simulation Mannequin x 4) The mannequin should be a full body with the approximate height of an adult (approx. 5 ft) and weigh at least 60lbs. but no more than 80lbs. It should be made of material that will accurately simulate a human body and tissue, while still allowing for the required features listed below. The material shall be made of non-toxic material and safe to handle and touch Adult, elderly mannequin Interchangeable pupils to allow for normal, constricted or dilation Limbs must have a range of motion comparable to an average person Mannequin must be able to be turned, transferred, or position for patient care Must allow for oral and nasal intubation Must allow for ventilation Must allow for CPR compression Must allow airway management Must allow for urinary catheterization Must allow for wound care Must allow for tracheostomy care Must all for NG/PEG tube Must allow for ostomy care Must allow for IVs and injection sites Must allow for medication administration Must feature heart, lung, and bowel sounds Must allow for ECG placement Must allow for monitoring of blood pressure, temperature, SpO2, and ECG. Must allow for manual carotid pulse 3.2 Salient Characteristics (WMD/CBRNE/Decon Mannequin x 3) The mannequin should be a full body with the approximate height of an adult (approx. 5 ft) and weigh at least 60lbs. but no more than 80lbs. It should be made of material that will accurately simulate a human body for the purposes of decontamination. It should be made of material that can sustain being saturated in water and cleaning solutions for the purposes of decontamination It should be made of material that can be easily cleaned and dried after being processed through decontamination. It should be durable and be non-electronic construction, able to withstand wet and outdoor environments The material shall be made of non-toxic material and safe to handle and touch Full body mannequin designed for decontamination training and practice Intubation head allowing for airway management IV arm with injection site Designed to withstand decontamination practice and use in hazmat exercises Must allow for moulage
