Description

This amendment to the previous sources sought notice serves to answer RFIs and provide a scope of work for this project: RFI#1: Can you confirm whether the estimated construction magnitude of $2,000,000 $5,000,000 applies individually to each project (Bath and Canandaigua), or represents the combined magnitude for both sites? Construction magnitude of $2,000,000 $5,000,000 applies individually to each site/project. RFI#2: Are final design documents required to be signed and sealed by a Professional Engineer licensed in the State of New York, or will equivalent licensure in fire protection engineering from another state be acceptable? Professional Engineer licensed, with demonstrated familiarity of standards and regulations of the State of New York and federal standards and regulations. Per SOW: Personnel Required for Design Effort Certified and Registered Fire Design Professional with demonstrated familiarity with New York State and Federal standards and regulations Developing systems that are easily maintained and serviceable in early 20th century buildings Certified and Registered Architect with demonstrated familiarity with New York State and Federal historical preservation Working in patientcare and treatment areas RFI#3: Will phased construction or temporary fire protection provisions be required to maintain sprinkler coverage during replacement within occupied healthcare facilities? Yes RFI#4: Will the design team be responsible for performing full facility site surveys and system verification, or will existing as-built documentation be provided and considered reliable for design development? Yes RFI#5: Both solicitations note to use a Section E Cover Sheet and Section F Cover Sheet. Is this a form in addition to the Section E Resume template page? I can t seem to find a cover page anywhere online. This just advises firms to use the Section E template ahead of each individual Resume and a Section F template ahead of each individual example to better organize and separate individual examples.
