Description

1. Description of Requirement The Department of War (DOW) is issuing this synopsis to announce its future intent to procure a commercial general-purpose excavator. The intended equipment will support engineering, earthmoving, and base operation tasks. 2. Important Disclaimer / Non-Binding Notice THIS IS SYNOPSIS AND ANNOUNCEMNT ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. This notice is issued soley for informational and market planning purposes and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), on Invitation for BID (IFB). This announcement is strictly non-binding. The United States Government is not obligated to issue a formal solicitation, accept and proposals, or award a contract as a direct results of this synopsis. Furthermore, the Government will not reimburse any interested parties for any information, administrative cost, or efforts expended in response to or in review of this notice. 3. Further Actions At this time, no response, quotes, or proposals are being accepted. If the Government determines that a formal solicitation is required to fulfill this need, the solicitation documents will be officially posted on SAM.gov under a separate notice. Interested vendors are advised to monitor SAM.gov for future updates regarding this potential procurement.
