Description

The VHA Network Contracting Office 21, on behalf of VA San Francisco Health Care System, is conducting this Sources Sought to identify contractors who possess the capabilities to provide the following to determine source availability, capability and adequacy: Service - This plan covers recommended preventative maintenance (see above), all labor, all travel, expenses, and all parts, for an unlimited number of on-demand service visits and telephone support calls around the clock. ON SITE COVERAGE IS 7:00 AM TO 7PM, 7 DAYS A WEEK. Service provided should be the Full-Service Agreement as provided by the vendor. Supply items: Part Number Description EST. Qty per Year KT-0004 QPlus Cartridge, Kit of 10 35 KT-0023 QPlus Quality Control Level 1, Kit of 4 (Lyophilized) 8 KT-0025 QPlus Quality Control Level 2, Kit of 4 (Lyophilized) 8 KT-0012 Cleaning Cartridge, Kit of 10 8 KT-0020 QStat Cartridge, Kit of 10 35 KT-0027 QStat Quality Control Level 1, Kit of 4 (Lyophilized) 8 KT-0032 QStat Quality Control Level 2, Kit of 4 (Lyophilized) 8 More information is available in the Statement of Work (SOW) attached. The cartridge and kit is for HemoSonics Quantra Analyzer (SN:00525) which is VA owned. As permitted by FAR Part 10, this is a market research tool being utilized for informational and planning purposes. Your responses will assist the Government in developing its acquisition strategy for a possible Request for Quote (RFQ), to be issued at a future date, and in determining if any type of small business set-aside is possible for this procurement and if full and open competitive procedures should be utilized. If full and open competition is ultimately utilized, responses to this synopsis will be used to aid in establishing small business subcontracting goals. This notice shall not be construed as an RFQ or as any commitment or obligation on the part of the Government to issue a solicitation. The Government does not intend to award a contract based on this request, so quotes will not be considered. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or with any follow-up information requests. Response is strictly voluntary - it is not mandatory to submit a response to this notice to participate in any formal RFQ process that may take place in the future. However, it should be noted that information gathered through this notice may significantly influence VA s acquisition strategy for this procurement. All interested parties will be required to respond separately to any solicitations posted from this Sources Sought notice. Qualified firms shall submit the following: A statement of interest on company letterhead demonstrating the firm s qualifications to perform the defined work. Responses must be complete and sufficiently detailed to address the specific information. The documentation shall address, at a minimum, the following: Business Name and Address: Business SAM UEI Number: POC Name, email address and contact number: Business size and Socioeconomic Category (To be considered as an SDVOSB or VOSB for Market Research purposes, respondents must complete the attached VAAR Clause 852.219-78 (VA NOTICE OF LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE FOR SUPPLIES AND PRODUCTS (SEP 2021) (DEVIATION). Ability to meet the Governments requirements: Government is willing to review all responses from vendors proposing equipment equal to the above-mentioned equipment.
