Description
The AFLCMC Operational Contracting Branch at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, on behalf of the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), is conducting market research through a Sources Sought Notice to identify potential sources, including Small Businesses (SB), capable of delivering a High-Performance Liquid Chromatograph-Mass Spectrometer (HPLC-MS). A set-aside decision has not yet been made for this acquisition. REQUIREMENTS: The Government requires a High-Performance Liquid Chromatograph-Mass Spectrometer (HPLC-MS) system that is 100% natively compatible with and can be controlled by the existing laboratory software platform, Agilent MassHunter. This compatibility is a mandatory requirement to ensure operational continuity and data integrity with the Government's existing data infrastructure. Technical market research indicates that only systems manufactured by Agilent Technologies can meet this requirement. This notice is issued to validate these findings. SUBMISSION DETAILS: Interested parties are requested to submit a capability package that provides clear and convincing evidence of their ability to provide an HPLC-MS system that is 100% natively compatible with and can be controlled by the Agilent MassHunter software platform. In addition, interested parties must provide the following information: Company Name, Address, CAGE Code, and Unique Entity ID (UEI). Point of Contact (Name, Phone Number, and Email Address). Company business size status under NAICS code 334516. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov to be eligible for a Department of Defense contract award. CLOSING: Responses to this Sources Sought notice must be submitted via email no later than Monday, 26 January 2026, at 11:00 AM Eastern Time. All correspondence sent via email must contain the subject line: FA860126Q0006, Sources Sought: High-Performance Liquid Chromatograph-Mass Spectrometer (HPLC-MS) System. Be advised that due to network filters, attachments ending in .zip or .exe are not allowable and will be deleted. The points of contact for this action are Brian Algeo, Contract Specialist, at brian.algeo.1@us.af.mil, and Candice Snow, Contracting Officer, at candice.snow@us.af.mil. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201, responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary and will not be reimbursed by the Government. The Governments assessment of the capability statements received will factor into whether any forthcoming solicitation will be conducted as a full and open competition or as a set-aside.
