Description
PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to Illumina, Inc., (CAGE Code 1WCS2), 5200 Illumina Way, San Diego, CA, 92122-4616 for Illumina reagents and consumables. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, [Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies of Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements]. This notice will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration�s System for Awards Management website, [SAM.gov]. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the SAM.gov website to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing; and the Product Service Code (PSC) is 6640, Laboratory Equipment and Supplies. Vendors must be registered at SAM.gov to receive government contracts. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement; and a proposal/quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Interested parties may identify their interests and/or capabilities statement to this requirement by contacting Contracting Officer Bryan Lane at bvlane@fbi.gov . Responses must be received by 9:00 AM (EST) on April 2, 2026. Only emailed responses will be considered. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses shall include the firm�s Unique Entity ID (UEI) number and its Business Size. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of whether to conduct competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement upon response(s) to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No reimbursement for any costs connected with providing capability information will be provided. The information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a contract.
