Description
This is a Sources Sought notice for market research purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for proposals, a commitment to issue a solicitation, or a commitment to award a contract. The U.S. Government is not seeking quotes at this time and will not accept offers in response to this sources sought notice. A solicitation may be issued at a later time. The purpose of this notice is to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the requirement for the replacement of an existing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) chiller at Building 149. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. The contractor shall be responsible for providing all management, supervision, labor, materials, and equipment to perform the complete replacement of the existing air-cooled chiller system. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, four primary tasks: (1) the safe decommissioning and removal of the existing chiller, including proper handling of all refrigerants and fluids; (2) the provision and installation of a new, energy-efficient air-cooled chiller system with all necessary piping and electrical connections; (3) the complete integration of the new chiller with the existing building automation system, followed by system charging, start-up, and full performance testing; and (4) the removal of all project-related debris and the restoration of the worksite upon completion. Interested and capable parties are invited to respond to this notice by submitting a capability statement that demonstrates their ability to perform the work described herein.
