Description

THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service, Contracting Operations (ConOps) East, intends to issue a Solicitation to construct a 30� x 40� Cypress pavilion on a concrete slab with a metal roof. The pavilion will be located within the picnic area of the Andersonville National Historic Site, NPS, located at 496 Cemetery Road, Andersonville, GA 31711. This procurement will be set-aside for Small Business firms. The NAICS code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a small business size of $45,000,000. The Product Service Code (PSC) is Y1PZ: Construction of Other Non-Building Facilities All interested offerors MUST have an active vendor record in SAM.gov, be a small business under the identified NAICS code and NOT have any exclusions such as a delinquent federal debt or debarment. SITE VISIT: Only one formal (1) site visit will be scheduled for this action, and no informal individual site visits will be allowed. Details will be provided with the solicitation when it�s published. TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed-price contract is expected to be awarded from this solicitation. Note: Davis Bacon prevailing wages for Sumpter County, Georgia will apply for this requirement See attachment C or GA20250106 on SAM.gov will apply. The Government intends to award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the proposer responsible whose offer conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The solicitation will be posted on sam.gov (System for Award Management) on or about March 27, 2026. This date is subject to change. Hard copy documents including drawings will not be available - all available documents will be posted for download. Offers will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of solicitation unless extended by amendment. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. After issuance of solicitation, send any inquires via email to keith_smith@ios.doi.gov by 1:00 pm (ET) on April 10, 2026 (This date is subject to change). NO oral questions will be accepted. NOTE: No additional information is available until the solicitation is released. No offeror list is maintained by the Contracting Officer; however, you can add your name to the "Interested vendors" in the solicitation and the system will notify you of any update.
