Description
This Sources Sought is for the USACE, North Atlantic Division (NAD) central regional curation facility. USACE, St. Louis District will issue a contract and is looking for a 36 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 79 compliant facility to curate North Atlantic Division central region (Baltimore and Philadelphia Districts) archaeological collections for up to five years. Currently there are between 190?200 cubic/linear feet of collections with most of the collections originating from Pennsylvania. Minimal growth, no more than 5?10 cubic/linear feet, is expected each year. The work covered by this Sources Sought includes housing and providing collections management services and access to archaeological materials and associated records (hereafter archaeological collections) generated in conjunction with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers activities. Additional tasks may include, where appropriate, intake, stabilization, cataloging, inventories, rehabilitation, and other service-related collections management tasks of archaeological collections.
