Description
Synopsis for Solicitation number N0018926RL002 (Warehouse and Storage Support Services) The Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Norfolk, VA 23511-3392 intends to award a firm fixed-price contract for warehouse and storage support service. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The requirement covers the procurement of the requested services. The procurement action is for Naval Supply Systems Command, Norfolk, Virginia. The requirement is anticipated to be solicited on 12 February 2025- 09 April 2026 as a Sole Source requirement in accordance with FAR 19.502-1(b), setting aside this acquisition for competition among small businesses does not apply since this requirement will be procured from a required source in accordance with FAR Subpart 8.7 The services needed are warehouse operations support services include: Supplemental Aviation Spares Function (SASS), receiving, storing, Care For Material In Stock (COMIS), re-warehousing, issuing, delivery, pick up, crating, packing, physically handling, loading and unloading Government owned stock material and/or material ordered to support customers of RSO Oceana and RSO Norfolk. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a vendor ineligible for award. Any potential contractor capable of demonstrating that it is qualified to perform the work to the required standards and that wishes to make a competitive quote for the contract should submit a capability statement in beta.SAM.gov. Through its submission, the vendor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a vendor ineligible for award. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 493110-General Warehousing & Storage. The Size Standard is 34 millions of dollars. The product service code (FSC) is S215-Housekeeping Warehousing & Storage.
