SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE This Sources Sought Notice is to determine the presence of any businesses capable of satisfying a requirement at the VA Northern Indiana Healthcare System (Marion & Fort Wayne campuses) for underground and aboveground storage tank inspection and maintenance. Note to Responders: This Sources Sought Notice is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered as an invitation for bid, request for quotation, request for proposal, or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. Your response to this Sources Sought Notice will be treated as information only. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses to this announcement or the Government use of such information. This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter negotiations to award a contract. No funds have been authorized, appropriated, or received for this effort. BACKGROUND The VA NIHCS intends to award a contract with a base year, and four (4) additional option year periods exercisable at the government s discretion, for the inspection and maintenance of the under and above ground storage tanks. The Contractor shall ensure that compliance, leak detection, new installations, upgrades and tank closures, all faucets of fuel storage are completed in accordance with Indiana s Storage Tank Rules in accordance with NFPA 110, Joint Commission standards and any other applicable regulations. The Contractor will be responsible for maintenance, testing, and repair proposals to maintain dependable operation of the equipment. Please see attachment 1 for a draft description of services, no additional information will be provided at this time. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code: 541990 VENDOR CAPABILITY Interested and qualified vendors are encouraged to respond with: Business name and point of contact, street address, e-mail address, telephone number, sam.gov registration (UEI), NAICS code, GSA/FSS Contract Number (if applicable), and Socio-economic status i.e. Small Business, Woman Owned Small Business, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, etc. Note: all SDVOSB s & VOSB s must be registered with the Small Business Administration s (SBA) Veteran Small Business Certification Registry https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/. A capability statement that adequately describes the contractor s ability to meet the requirement. Contractor shall provide any applicable past performance on contracts of this nature. Please provide no more than three (3) examples. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary information contained in their response. The Government does not intend to pay for the information submitted in response to this Sources Sought Notice.
