Description
GENERAL INFORMATION Notice of Intent for Sole Source The Medical Readiness Contracting Office - Pacific intends to award a firm fixed-price, non-personal contract for Maintenance and Repair Services for Rees Scientific Centron Temperature Monitoring and Alarm System at Brian D. Allgood Army Community Hospital (BDAACH) and Various Locations in South Korea, to include all labor, parts, material and travel, to repair and /or maintain the Government owned equipment, in a fully functional condition in accordance with (IAW) Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) specifications. This requirement is for a period of performance from 12 April 2026 through 11 April 2027, plus four one-year options, plus the FAR 52.217-8 option to extend. The proposed acquisition is intended as a sole source to Rees Scientific Corporation since they are the sole manufacturer and distributor of the Rees Scientific system, software and components. This software is proprietary to Rees Scientific Corporation. Rees Scientific is the only company capable and authorized to provide, annually, as needed validation, calibration and support for the Rees Scientific system. There are no other authorized vendors, distributors or installers for the system. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The NAICS code of this procurement is 811210 and the size standard is $34M.
