Description

Under Statutory Authority 41 U.S.C. 1901 the VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Philips Healthcare to provide preventive corrective maintenance of the Intrasight and SyncVision equipment at the Milwaukee VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI. A Class Justification for an Exception to Fair Opportunity (JEFO) issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Acquisition and Logistics National Acquisition Center limits performance of service agreements for previously acquired and installed Philips Radiology and Imaging Systems to the OEM, Philips. Orders will be issued as sole source (to the OEM) in accordance with FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(B). All orders will be issued under IDIQ VA797H-17-D-0022. NO OTHER VENDORS ARE AUTHORIZED FOR SERVICE PER THE JEFO. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 Simplified Acquisition Procedures as implemented in FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The NAICS Code is 811210. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available, and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and services to the Contracting Officer by 10:00am CDT on 03/31/2026. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Responses received will be evaluated, however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Contracting Officer will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Philips Healthcare.
