Description
This is a sources sought for Southwestern Willow Flycatcher Survey, Monitoring, and Banding. See attached SOW Interested vendors please respond back with: 1. CAGE Code 2. Unique Entity ID 3. A description of past experience working with southwestern willow flycatchers in regards to the SOW. 4. Confirmation that you possess the 2 needed permits: I. USFWS permit, because southwestern willow flycatchers (SWFL) are listed as endangered. This permit is needed to conduct surveys and disturb nesting endangered birds. The permit only allows trained and qualified individuals to complete these surveys and are difficult for contractors to obtain, due to the training and qualification processes that is required. Not many companies are working on this species. II. Banding Permit. This permit is obtained through the Bird Banding Laboratory (BBL), which is part of USGS.
