Description
1. Background and Objective: The F-16 European Participating Air Forces (EPAF) Test Program, located at Edwards Air Force Base (AFB) in California, has a requirement for the disposal of Cartridge and Propellant Actuated Devices (CAD/PAD). The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform the pickup, transportation, and certified destruction/disposal of these assets. 2. Scope of Work: The task involves the following primary activities: Physical pickup of materials from the designated installation at Edwards AFB, CA. Secure transportation to an authorized and designated disposal facility. Certified destruction and disposal of all units in accordance with applicable environmental and safety regulations. 3. Asset Details: Total Quantity: 36 CAD/PAD assets across 24 National Stock Numbers (NSNs). Packaging: All 36 units are individually contained in (24 boxes) Fiberboard Boxes and packaged in accordance with applicable United States Air Force (USAF) technical data. Estimated Net Weight: ~9.11 lbs (total). Estimated Gross Packaged Weight: ~88.0 lbs. Condition/Visuals: Photographs of the assets are currently unavailable. 4. Additional Information: All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Note: In accordance with FAR Clause 52.222-41, Service Contract Labor Standards, prevailing wages are applicable to this effort.
