Description
PLEASE NOTE: AN ADDENDUM HAS BEEN INCORPORATED INTO THIS CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY. PLEASE REVIEW ALL CHANGES AND PROVIDE ONE (1) SIGNED COPY OF THE ADDENDUM WITH THE FINAL PROPOSAL SUBMISSION. The Contracting Officer will be out of office from November 12th, 2025 through November 21st, 2025. Please send all communication to the Secondary Point of Contact with the Contracting Officer on copy during this time. Argonne National Laboratory is seeking a responsible contractor for the design, manufacture, test, and delivery of a vacuum chamber system for the BioNanoProbe-II (BNP-II) instrument, at Sector 2ID beamline of the Advanced Photon Source (APS). The chamber will house high-resolution x-ray optics, visible light optics, numerous precision motion stages, metrology equipment, liquid nitrogen flow lines, and more. Evaluation will be based upon a Best Value Procurement Strategy, defined and explained in Enclosure No. 1. Any prospective offeror desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitation, statement of work, etc. must request it in an email to mollyhunter@anl.gov by November 4, 2025, 3PM CDT, to allow a reply to be provided to all prospective offerors. Please review all provided documentation and instructions prior to submitting questions. Offers shall be submitted via e-mail to Molly Hunter by November 10, 2025 at 3:00 PM, CDT.
