Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT TO BE USED FOR MARKET ANALYSIS IN DETERMINING THE AVAILABILITY OF THE ATTACHED REQUIREMENT **NO AWARD WILL BE MADE FROM THIS SOURCES SOUGHT** **DO NOT SUBMIT A QUOTATION OR PROVIDE COST AND PRICING DATA** **NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME** ALL RESPONSES WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE THE APPROPRIATE ACQUISITION STRATEGY FOR THE POSSIBLE FUTURE ACQUISITION. Ellsworth AFB requires 84 Katadyn Manual Reverse Osmosis Devices (Part Number: MROD-06-LL1-RES) to outfit Survival Kits. These are military?grade, hand?operated desalinators provide a one?armed, reliable method of purifying salty, brackish, or freshwater. All interested parties who are are capable of providing the required item(s) are invited to provide information about your company/institution, or any teaming or joint venture partners. NOTE: IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL FOR THIS PROJECT WHEN IT IS FORMALLY ADVERTISED, PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT A RESPONSE TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS If your firm has an interest in proposing on future requirements as described above, who believe they can meet the requirements, are invited to submit, in writing, a complete capabilities package. At a minimum capability statement shall state skills, experience, and knowledge required to perform this type of work. Include the following: Company name, address, point of contact (POC), telephone number, fax number, email address, website, and CAGE Code. Company�s business size and/or socioeconomic status (i.e. Small Business, SBA Certified 8A Program Participant, SBA Certified HUB Zone Firm, Small Disadvantaged Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business, Woman-Owned Small Business). A positive statement of your intention to bid on this contract as a prime contractor Offeror�s Joint Venture, Partnering Agreement, or Mentor-Prot�g� information if applicable � existing and potential. A listing of any government contracts held over the last three (3) years. If you are a small business, are you considering submitting a proposal as a prime contractor? What are the most critical criteria that would distinguish your company�s capabilities from another? Explain. The information requested will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. **Responses are due in accordance with the sources sought listing and shall be submitted electronically to: CHRISTIAN.DEPOLLAR.2@US.AF.MIL and JOSHUA.JOHNSON.233@US.AF.MIL** Primary Government Point of Contact: Second Lieutenant Christian Depollar. Questions relevant to this shall be sent electronically to the above email address. NO PHONE INQUIRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. All communication shall be in writing and submitted electronically with reference �Manual Reverse Osmosis Filter.� Interested companies are encouraged to provide other solutions that may meet the required specifications and/or functional description. When doing so, information shall follow the guidelines set by this sources sought notice. THIS IS A NOTICE FOR SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY. THIS NOTICE DOES NOT CONSTITUE A PROCUREMENT COMMITMENT BY THE UNITED STATES AIR FORCE, IMPLIED OR ORTHERWISE. NOT CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. RESPONSE IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY; NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSR TO THIS NOTICE OR NAY FOLLOW UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. THE GOVERNMENT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR OR SUFFERE ANY CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR ANY IMPROPERLY IDENTIFIED INFORMATION.
