Sources Sought Notice: SPRDL1-26-R-0055 Item Name: Eyesafe Laser Rangefinder (ELRF) with Container NSN: 1240-01-695-0625 Part Number: 13083231 Guaranteed Minimum QTY: 24 Estimated Maximum 5 Year QTY: 570 End Item: JE Response Date: 11 March 2026 Requirements Description: The Eyesafe Laser Rangefinder (ELRF) with Container (PN: 13083231) is a containerized, eyesafe laser rangefinder subsystem designed for integration with the Gunner's Primary Sight (GPS) on the Abrams M1A2 Tank. Its primary purpose is to determine the range of targets on the battlefield under various conditions, including the presence of man-made or natural obscurants. In addition to rangefinding, the ELRF projects a visible, collimated reticle into the GPS to provide an aim point for the tank's weapon systems. The Government does not have drawings for this item that are suitable for competitive procurement. The TDP is fully defined, but the government does not have full data rights. This survey is published in compliance with FAR Part 10, Market Research. The purpose of this survey is to canvas the industry for any possible other sources. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this market research is purely voluntary. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred in responding or in any subsequent exchange of information. Contractors interested in becoming a source of supply need to meet the requirements of the Source Approval Program including vehicle level qualification testing, at their own expense. The TACOM Life Cycle Management Command, Competition Management Office (CMO), is the lead proponent for the Source Approval Program. Specific information and point of contact for the Source Approval Program is available at https://tacom.army.mil/ and select Ombudsman from the menu.
