Description: SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION FOR EDWARDS SABERLINE 2.0. THIS IS A MARKET SURVEY FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPISIS. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS SYNOPSIS IS TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF POTENTIALLY QUALIFIED SOURCES AND THEIR SIZE CLASSIFICATIONS (SMALL BUSINESS, LARGE BUSINESS, ETC.). PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION, AS ONE DOES NOT EXIST. 1. Purpose This is a sources sought synopsis in support of Market Research being conducted by the United States Air Force to identify potential sources for non-personnel services contract to provide a Rockwell Sabreliner aircraft, along with a qualified Sabreliner flight instructor(s), for Qualitative Evaluation (QE) flights at the US Air Force (USAF) Test Pilot School (TPS) . 2. Requirement The contractor will be required to provide TPS students and staff with Sabreliner or HU-16 aircraft training flights for approximately 1.0 - 2.0 hours per flight. Actual flight hours and/or block times (which includes ground operation) may vary depending on mission profile flown. Additinally, the contractor will be required to use the Sabreliner in support of TPS Test Management Projects (TMPs). TMPs are team-based training events that are ongoing through the second semester of the TPS curriculum. For further details, please see the atatched peformance work statement (PWS). 3. Instructions for Capability Statements Interested firms having the required capabilities to meet the requirements described herein are provided with the opportunity to submit a capability statement and provide additional input requested in this RFI of no more than 5 pages. Specifically indicate your interest in performing as a prime and/or subcontractor and provide specific details that would demonstrate your firm�s ability to perform all aspects of the effort. Furnish the following information: a. Company name, UEI and Cage Code, address, points of contact (email and phone number). b. Identification of business size (small or large) and identify the socioeconomic disadvantaged category, as defined in the Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 19 and also currently listed in the System for Award Management (SAM). Small business size standards are published by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and may be found at ww.sba.gov/size/sizetable2002.html. The potential North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes assigned to this procurement is 611512. The Small Business Size Standard is $34,000,000.00. c. Detail your firm�s ability to perform all or any aspects of the effort; list of customers covering work performed within the past three (3) years (if applicable, please list at least 3 customers) highlighting relevant work performed, technical description, contract number, contract type, dollar value of each procurement, NAICS code, and procurement and technical points of contact (email address and phone number). 4. Inquiries a. Any qualified and interested company responding to this announcement must be able to support all areas. NO partial support responses from industry will be accepted. b. If additional information is released it will be available on www.sam.gov. It is the interested firm�s responsibility to monitor this website for the release of information, synopsis, and/or solicitation.
