Description
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, is issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a single firm fixed-price contract. The project will renourish approximately 1.1 miles of shoreline in Palm Beach County, within the Town of Ocean Ridge. The Ocean Ridge beach renourishment is located between Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Range Monuments R-153 and R-159. The sand for the project will be sourced from two offshore borrow areas. The north borrow area is located approximately 0.78 nautical miles from the midpoint of the project fill area. The south borrow area is located approximately 0.5 nautical miles from the midpoint of the project fill area. Work also includes but is not limited to environmental species monitoring, hardbottom monitoring, turbidity monitoring, beach tilling, beach fill quality control, screening, and vibration control and monitoring. Bids are due on Friday, 12 December at 1:00 PM, EST and Bid Opening will be held at 2:00 PM, EST. A pre-bid site visit will be held on Thursday, 20 November 2025 at 10:00 AM EST. Refer to FAR 52.236-27 SITE VISIT for additional details regarding location and registration instructions. A pre-bid conference will also be held virtually on 20 November 2025 at 2:00 PM EST. The anticipated period of performance associated with this requirement is: 90 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The contractor shall commence work within 60 calendar days after receipt of the NTP. THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED SOLICITATION. U.S. COAST GUARD CERTIFIED DREDGE EQUIPMENT IS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE WORK. The solicitation is issued in electronic format only and is posted on the Sam.gov website at https://sam.gov/.
