Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Savannah District intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for W912HN25BA023 for Project Number: 103972, Construct Pathway Sunset Liberty March, Fort Bragg, NC. This Synopsis is ONLY A NOTIFICATION that a solicitation is anticipated and forthcoming; no proposals are being accepted. The subsequent solicitation will result in a C-Type Stand-alone contract. This Invitation for Bids will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990 ? Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, with a Small Business size standard of $45M. Description of Work: This is a new requirement to construct a pathway Sunset Liberty March. The project will convert abandoned sections of Bragg Boulevard to a memorial pathway, highlighting the significant contributions of the US Army units stationed in the installation. The project includes the demolition of the bituminous layer and installation of a new memorial pathway on top of the existing concrete sub-base. The pathway will include lights, memorial markers, planting and will terminate in a new memorial plaza. Supporting facilities include exterior electric service, security lighting, paving, signage, storm drainage, erosion control, and landscaping. This project is fully designed, and all technical specifications and drawings will be provided at the issuance of the Solicitation.
