Aviation Blvd., EI Segundo, California, 90245-2808 Contracting Officer Phillip Nguyen, SSC/PK/SNK - phillip.nguyen.2@spaceforce.mil Description Contract #: FA8810-20-C-0002 Classification Code: 541 � Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services NAICS Code: 541715 -- Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Biotechnology) Product/Service Code: AC23 Notice #: PA-1593 Procurement Type: Pre-Solicitation Place of Performance: Redacted The United States Space Force Space Systems Command (SSC) Space Sensing portfolio intends to issue a solicitation for Tools, Applications, and Processing (TAP) Laboratory and Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Battlespace Awareness Center (OBAC) Support Services (TLOSS) Transition Out Services not before 15 days after the posting of this Notice of Proposed Contract Action. For this acquisition, the NAICS code is 541715 and this is a modification to an existing contract for additional supplies or services. The original contract did not include FAR Clause 52.237-3, Continuity of Services or any transition requirements in the PWS requiring the incumbent TLOSS contractor to furnish phasein, phase-out services with the successor. This omission presents a significant concern as the services provided under this contract are considered vital to the Government and must continue uninterrupted. The contract's critical nature stems from the TLOSS contractor's responsibility for essential support functions at the . These functions encompass Development Security Operations, Cybersecurity, Physical Security and Infrastructure Enhancements. The overall scope of effort required under the transition-out phase is based on the existing scope of work with additional emphasis of successfully transitioned-out the required activities and processes to the prime BOSS awardee to ensure effective overall execution. This notice is for information and planning purposes only; it does not constitute a Request for Proposal. The Government will not recognize any cost associated with submission of information in response to this or previous notices. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation, nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government.
