Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice/Request for Information ONLY. This is NOT a Solicitation Announcement, nor is it a Request for Proposal (RFP). This request does not obligate the Government in any contract award. Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC), Glynco GA, is conducting preliminary market research to determine the market capabilities of potential Contractors to complete work on the design and construction of a Range Cart Storage Facility. The project will be located at Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC), Glynco GA. The Magnitude of Construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Any Contractor interested in performing such work, must be able to perform the activities described below: This project is for the design and construction of a range cart storage facility. The facility will provide secure and weather-resistant storage for Firearms Division range carts and related equipment. Utilizing a design-build approach, the project will integrate the design and construction phases to enhance efficiency, minimize costs, and ensure high-quality outcomes. The contractor will handle all parts of the project, including site evaluation, design, permitting, construction, and final delivery. The facility will meet all required codes, standards, and regulations while supporting operational needs and ensuring durability. All interested Small Business firms with 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, as an approved NAICS code have until ?Wednesday?, April 29, 2026 at 05:00 pm (Eastern Time) to submit the following information: Name, Address & CAGE Code of your Firm. Point of Contact (name/phone/email). Size Status: i.e., Small Business to include designation as HUBZone, 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Woman-Owned Small Business. Bonding capability; both single and aggregate. Evidence of capabilities to perform comparable design and construction work on at least two recent projects (not more than five years old). Include project name, geographic location, project size and relevant features of the project. Completion date, total contract value, and your company�s level of involvement in the project. Please provide at least one point of contact (with email address and phone number) for project validation. This portion of your response is limited to 2 pages. LOCAL CONTRACTORS: In accordance with FAR 26.202-1, the possible acquisition will be limited to local contractors. All required material, labor, transportation, and facilities shall be available locally. This possible requirement will be a local area Total Small Business set-aside for vendors residing in or primarily doing business in the U.S. Small Business Administration�s Southeast Region (Region 4) consisting of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. Offers outside of U.S. Small Business Administration�s Southeast Region (Region 4) will not be considered. Participation in this Request for Information (RFI) process is important as it provides the FLETC decision-makers with awareness of the capabilities that exist in the market. Your response is a key factor in the development of the acquisition strategy. Data collected will become the property of FLETC, GA.
