Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in RFO FAR 12.202, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number 36C25726Q0536 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2026-01. The NAICS Code for this request for quotes is 334516 (1000 Employees). This is a total Small Business set-aside. The items being requested are included in the solicitation attachment RFQ 36C25726Q0536.pdf. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The evaluation criteria are technical acceptability and price. See attached RFQ document for details. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. There are no addenda to this clause. The Veterans Affairs North Texas Healthcare System located at Dallas VA Medical Center; 4500 S. Lancaster Rd. Dallas TX 75216 has a requirement for two (2) Automated Nitrogen Gas Solvent Evaporator Systems to assist with extractions and the expansion of specialty testing in Toxicology Laboratory. The Automated Nitrogen Gas Solvent Evaporator Systems will be used to remove liquid solvents from samples, leaving behind a concentrated or solid residue to purify compounds, concentrating solutions, and preparing samples for further analysis. The equipment should meet or exceed the specifications below for brand name or equivalent to the Biotage TurboVap LV. Technical Questions. Please include in your questions and the section of the solicitation/page number that your question is referring to. The Government reserves the right not to answer questions without meeting this timeline if doing so would result in an amendment requiring an extension of the solicitation and to extend it would not be in the best interest of the Government. No questions about this solicitation will be answered telephonically. All responses to questions, which may affect offers, will be incorporated into a written amendment to the Request for Quote.
