Description
The U.S. Coast Guard intends to award a sole source contract to (NORFOLK BEARINGS & SUPPLY CO., INC) for (COUPLING SHAFT ASSEMBLY). (NORFOLK BEARINGS & SUPPLY CO., INC) is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and possesses proprietary knowledge, technical expertise, and specialized capabilities that are essential to meet the requirements of this procurement. No other vendor has been identified that can provide the required goods/services with the same level of compatibility, quality, and performance. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided. Telephone requests will not be honored.
